Bulgarian painter, Larisa Ilieva recently decided to share her life between Paris and Bulgaria. A decision that provoked a revolution in the artist's work: a real modern liberation. While remaining attached to the eastern precision of detail and the fragment, its conception has opened up to new overlays, with bridges between reality and the abstract. At first glance, we are attracted to familiar floral patterns. But then their superposition opens up areas of reflection and surprisingly new aesthetic pleasure. The works resonate with the sensitivity of contemporary art, making bridges between classic drawing in ink and current culture of pop art. All in an enchanting coloring and invigorating frivolity.
