This week's styling with art column delves into the sharp lines and acute angles of geometry. We chose '2012' an acrylic on canvas work by Irish-French artist Patricia Poullain as a starting point. Patricia is fascinated with the backward forward movement of colours and their very pronounced reactions to each other, which is something we tried to replicate in our accompanying feature choices.
Success! We're blown away by the reception we received last night at the launch of WE Rise with Style. It just goes to show how important styling art into the home is! Last night we went to blogger and journalist, Bright Bazaar's book launch at West Elm in Fitzrovia. As you can imagine, the colours were dazzling, the treats were great and once i got my tongue around the hashtag, I managed to ask Will how he thought Art could be used in terms of make you smile style.
