This week we enjoyed an evening of cocktails and art at the opening night of 'Magnificent Interiors', a solo show of works from renowned photographer Gina Soden. Head curator Rebecca Gordon teamed up with contemporary furniture design studio Another Country in London, adorning their show room with a hand selected series of Gina's artworks. You can catch the show anytime before December 24th!
Up in the Air with Tommy Clarke
Last month the Rise Art team hosted a private view with photographer Tommy Clarke in Brick Lane, showcasing works from his latest series 'Useless Loop'. We gladly surrendered to wanderlust, escaping the dark October evening for a curated exhibition of tropical abstracts. Champagne and conversation flowed as guests admired the works and chatted to the man behind the lens. Missed the show? Read our exclusive interview with Tommy on the blog.
Rise Art News
CNN's Style spotlight was on Rise Art artist Kelvin Okafor last week. It's hard to believe that his hyperrealistic portraits are hand drawings, not photographs. We're not surprised they're getting some attention! Browse his works on Rise Art.
Out and about in London (no, it's never too early to start Christmas shopping) curator Nat Rubinstein spotted this stunning commissioned window display from Icelandic artist Kristjana Williams. From Fortnum & Mason to Rio Olympics HQ, Belmond Copacabana Palace, Kristjana's artworks are a favourite for luxury brands across the globe, and you can bring the look home too with one of her affordable prints available now on Rise Art.
