Degree Show Season Round Up
Our Artist Champion Natalia has had a pretty busy few weeks, heading up all of the best London art schools on the hunt for brand new emerging talent. We pounced on her in the office this week, quizzing her about the highlights of the season so far, and she gave us a sneak-peek at some of the best pieces she found!
The Slade MA/MFA/PhD show
"Hands down the most innovative approach to painting. The absolute highlight of the show had to be Sara Berman. Her latest works talk about the most intimate spaces occupied by a female body - it's about the negative space inside a woman's clothes and the body underneath."

Art World Happenings
We don't know about you, but we've been waiting (impatiently) for the new David Hockney exhibition to open for a while! His last major show was named the most successful exhibition in UK history, so this is definitely something to get excited about. It opens this Sunday and runs until October so go and soak up some weekend culture this Summer at the Royal Academy. We're lucky enough to house a few limitied edition Hockney prints on Rise Art... Take a look!

Simon Job uses intriguingly varied methods to create each of his artworks. From spray paint on canvas, to graphite on sheet. His minimal, elegant works are both textural and atmospheric. They are fragile impressions of the world as seen through an artist's eyes, and would make a beautiful addition to any space.
