Patrick Colhoun's delicate, dark and intense sculptures

Orginally trained as a ceramicist, Patrick Colhoun's practice is now multi-disciplinary with sculptures and installations combining black clay, hosiery, latex, piercings and metal spikes. His works employ delicate, fragile and dark imagery, using the repeated motifs of the hollowed out torso and shell. Here's a selection of our favourite works from Patrick:
