Richard Walker

Richard Walker is a British artist whose work celebrates the flamboyant artistic scene of the late seventies. Richard’s prints are cheeky and irreverent, bright and bold. They reflect the themes of glamour, mayhem and gossip that pervaded the culture of the time. We love the anarchic spirit of Richard’s prints and the way his socially edgy imagery captures and clings to a thrilling artistic era gone by.

Richard trained at the Glasgow School of Art and has exhibited work throughout England,
Europe and America. His work can be found in various public and private collections, including famous New York department store Barneys, the Axis Restaurant in London and the Hyatt Hotel in Warsaw.

The artist has won numerous awards and grants for his work over the course of his career. He has also worked as an artist in residence in Scotland, the US and Slovenia.
