Éric Brocherie

Éric Brocherie is a self -taught artist. First a musician, he met graphic design in 1986. This visual universe opened the doors of art, typography and pop culture. Fascinated, it was bulimic and curious about artistic and graphic culture. Between 1991 and 2018, he co-founded the design workshops 5th column, Shaman L'Atelier Graphique, Franklin (all specialized in fashion and luxury) and The French Title (specialized in the credits of feature film). He also participates in the advent of the Internet, by being part of the pioneers, by organizing fully digital artistic events such as Cybertags in 1998, & nbsp; But also by creating the first websites of pure players and brands such as the Cartier or Charles Jourdan Foundation. & nbsp; he met, during this period, Cédric Klapisch and produced a first generic for “Everyone seeks his cat” in 1996. & nbsp; Fan of cinema and music, this allows him to express his passions for the animated image, the realization, the editing, the music and the typography through this exercise of particular style of the credits, real multidisciplinary mixture. & Nbsp; since he Directed all the generics of his films (the Spanish inn, the Russian dolls, Paris, in body,…) and also worked with Jacques Audiard, Yvan Attal, Marion Vernoux, Gaspar Noë, Eric Rochan and others. & NBSP ; During these years, he shared his time between his profession as artistic director specializing in luxury and fashion and that of creator of generics. & Nbsp; in parallel with his work as artistic director, he used his experience and his Visual and typographic culture to embark on a more personal and artistic approach by creating singular digital works that he decides today to reveal. & nbsp; typography, movement, speed, wear, dilapidation, are the main themes of his abstraction work. The emotion felt in front of the abstract has always fascinated him. The influences, not exhaustive, are diverse and go from David Carson to Kandisky, from Bahaus to Jackson Pollock, from Neville Brody to Jean-Pierre Basquiat, ...
