Aiko Nakagawa ran Takashi Murakami's studio in Brooklyn long before he was internationally known.
AIKO collaborated with Banksy in 2008, posing as a Japanese tourist and taking the now famous pictures of him creating unauthorised installations at MoMA, Natural History Museum and The Met, which catapulted him to fame
Aiko collaborated with Louis Vuitton, who released an AIKO silk scarf in 2013.

Aiko Nakagawa, also known as Lady Aiko, gained worldwide notoriety as part of seminal street art collective FAILE. Her mixed media canvases and prints are rich with texture and expression - beautifully portraying themes such as sexuality, femininity and pop culture.
