Alternative processes include (but are not limited to): Albumen, Cyanotype, Van Dyke Brown, Platinum/Palladium, Gum Bichromate, Bromoil, Salt Print, Tintype, Ziatype, Daguerreotype, Image Transfers, Liquid Emulsion, Photogravure as well as handmade prints created from digital negatives.. Traditional Silver Gelatin Prints, C-Prints and Digital Prints are not eligible. There is no limitation as to subject matter.
Our juror this year, Miriam Leuchter, is Editor-in-Chief of both Popular Photography and American Photo Magazine. She serves on the board of The Josephine Herrick Project, a nonprofit that enlists photographic community volunteers to educate students who have not had the opportunity to learn the communicative power of photography. She has juried many international photography competitions, and her own work has been published and exhibited in magazines, newspapers and art galleries in the United States and Europe.
