When it gets down to gifting art it’s hard to know where to begin, but I think a sure place to start for the perfect present is with a print. When choosing a piece for someone else a print will give you loads of flexibility when it comes to price options and size, and they will mostly require pretty standard framing, so it makes everything that little bit more simple. Unlike other media that can be extremely subjective, prints are generally a great crowd pleaser, and will give you a wide choice of subject matter and style to choose from for that flawless, unforgettable gift. Limited edition prints are also a fantastic way to own art from really well-known established artists at affordable prices, so if your best friend, sibling or partner loves Tracey Emin, you can make their dream come true and gift them one at a fraction of the cost of an original. From geometric to illustration, monoprints to screenprints, a good print is easy to connect with, fun to live with, can be a wonderful memento, and is definitely a step up from socks. Read on for my 5 Prints Perfect for Presents, all under £500.
