Something For The Weekend: Art Cars With London 2012!

In London for the Olympics this Summer? BMW's incredible Art Collection of cars is on display starting July 21st in London's Trendy Shoreditch neighborhood. The collection, which was initiated by BMW over 35 years ago comes to London for the first time ever, and consists of BMW's transformed by leading contemporary artists into Art Cars.

Artists including Andy Warhol, David Hockney, Frank Stella and Alexander Calder have all taken a crack designing an Art Car, with their works showcased on display during the two week event.

Housed in conjunction with the ICA, The exhibition takes place in the brutalist Shoreditch Great Eastern Street NCP Car Park.
