Peter Blake at 80!

25th June 2012

The godfather of British Pop Art turns 80 today. With a career spanning decades, Sir Peter Blake is still creating works from his London studio and participated in this year's Art Car Boot Fair. His work is synonymous with the music of the 1960s and he is perhaps best known for his design for the sleeve of The Beatles' iconic 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Blake recently produced an updated version of the much loved artwork using design software, a process he described as "much easier" than his original laborious technique which involved cutting out photographs mounted on plywood.

In partnership with My Life in Art, we are delighted to be able to offer you the chance to own a limited edition print by this iconic artist. Here are a few of our favourites.
