Bespoke Saville Row Collage by Hormazd Narielwalla
19th June 2012
Savile Row tailors have a reputation for quality, craftsmanship and excellence. The bespoke nature of their work, creates individual mens clothing designed to last a lifetime.
The work of Hormazd Narielwalla draws off of this bespoke quality in his collage based work. Using archival fabrics from Savile Row garments, as well as bespoke tailoring patterns, Hormazd delicately creates unique works that preserve these patterns as beautiful drawings in their own right.
Hormazd work is drawn from experience. Following a scholorship to the London College of Fashion, where he earned a Masters in Fashion, he took up a residency at Dege & Skinner Savile Row, where he first published his unique textile based collages.
Hormazd's work has been shown at Galleries in the UK and Internationally, including a solo show at Paul Smiths Mayfair Gallery.
His work is now available on Rise Art. View Hormazd's channel here
