    Planet 66 is an Offset Lithograph produced by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. This is an Original Edition, limited to 300 prints. Each print has been signed, numbered and dated by the artist in his Tokyo studios. Takashi Murakami's artwork has been exhibited worldwide at contemporary art museums including the Tate Modern, Baltic Center for Contemporary art and New Yorks MOCA. The artist is in public and private collections worldwide including the Rubell Family Collection. Murakami has also done a series of handbags with luxury retailer Louis Vuitton.

    Influential Japanese artist whose so-called 'superflat' movement blurs the lines between high art and consumer culture. Murakami's work is often equal parts cute and disturbing. The imagery springs from animation and manga: colours are bright and glossy, and recurring motifs include smiling flowers, mushrooms and skulls.
