  • Hjartar Tre

    Hjartar Tre is a limited edition print by Icelandic artist Kristjana S. Williams. Kristjana sees symmetry in all living things, and as such creates fantastical creatures merging animals and nature with exotic plant life. Hjartar Tre is an example of this. The colorful animals are juxtaposed against floral and fauna. On closer inspection buterflies and insects and wild creatures can be seen in the shape of the leaves of the tree.

    Kristjana S Williams

    The Icelandic artist Kristjana S Williams studied design and illustration at the prestigious Central St Martins University of Arts, London. Exotic flora and fauna come alive in her work where she creates fantastical creatures by merging butterflies, tropical birds and exotic plants. Williams is an award winning artist, who has been commissioned to work with British designer Paul Smith and Liberty department store, London, and has created installations for the Connaught Hotel, Shanghai Exhibition Centre, and Lane Crawford, Hong Kong.
